This pioneer application in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra aims to provide users with a convenient and visually appealing solution for their daily transportation needs. It helps users plan their travel times while also identifying points of interest within the urban area of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Route calculation by Buses ("Micros")

In less than 10 seconds, the user can access all the available bus route options in the database. Each option displays the travel time, route name or number, and a detailed description of the chosen route from the origin (based on GPS device information) to the destination. By clicking on a desired route, users can also view a photograph of the bus line and the exact path it takes to reach the destination. The results are conveniently sorted based on shortest travel time.

Routes

Users can search for specific bus routes by entering the line number. Clicking on the button displays a photograph of the bus along with two options: "Ver Ruta" (route view) and "Puntos de interes" (points of interest). "Ver Ruta" shows the georeferenced path of the bus on a map of Santa Cruz, while "Puntos de interes" provides information on important landmarks along the route, including travel times between them. This gives users an idea of approximate travel time for their trip. Some landmarks are georeferenced and users can view their location on a map of Santa Cruz. The application also provides options for navigation to these landmarks via taxi or bus.

Taxi

In this module, users are shown the same map as in the bus route calculation module, with their georeferenced location displayed via GPS. Users can select their desired destination, and the application will plot the most direct route from the origin to the destination. The "Moviles y tarifas" (taxis and rates) option provides information on distance, approximate travel time, and the estimated fare for the taxi service.

Stops

If the user is within the central district area, the app will indicate nearby bus stops within a 400-meter radius of their georeferenced location. By clicking on a bus stop, users can view the routes that pass by that stop, allowing them to identify where they can catch the desired bus routes. Users can also perform the same actions available in the "Routes" module.

Landmarks

In this module, users can search for landmarks by categories and access detailed information about the listed sites. They have the option to reach these places by either taxi or bus, connecting to the "Taxi" and "Calculate Bus Route" modules.
